The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has recently announced the continuation of BR1M program during the Budget 2015 speech. BR1M 2015 or BR1M 4.0 has received a few upgrades on it’s payout and is eligible to more lower income groups. A sum of RM 3 billion are to be expected to be distributed to 5.7 million household and individual across Malaysia. Here are some of the highlights on BR1M 2015

Family with household income below RM 3,000 will receive a RM 950 aid, while family with household income between RM 3,000 and RM 4,000 will receive a RM 750 aid. Single individual who are 21 years and above will receive a RM 350 aid.
Eligibility
BR1M is open to all Malaysians who are considered to be in the lower income group. The parents either female or male who is the leader of the family can consider applying for BR1M aid. Among the people who are eligible is not limited to single parents, single person with dependencies,married although still living with parents and senior citizens.
Payment
The family of BR1M 2015 recipient shall receive their payment in three schedule. These payment will be made out on January, May and September 2015. Single recipient of RM 350 shall receive their cash on January 2015. The cash will be credited directly to eligible person’s bank account.
Application
As of previous BR1M scheme, the BR1M can be applied offline and online. Previous successful applicants will not need to apply for the BR1M aid again. However they would need to update their latest information such as address and bank account number to ensure it is accurate.
For online application, it is usually done via a few websites listed below. As for BR1M 2014, the online application will only be available on the 2nd week of 2014.
